Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol

"Your mission, should you choose to accept it"

So, I finally watched it today, a movie that has come up in everyone's conversation over the past week, Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol. It's an action spy film, and the fourth installment in the Mission: Impossible series. I can't stress enough, this movie was absolutely amazing and it keeps up to the name of the previous Mission: Impossible movies. I heard a lot of people questioning the need of a 4th part, expecting the 3rd to be a pretty good conclusion, but this latest addition to the 15 year old series definitely gets the audience wanting more. There's one unfamiliar face in this installment, Jeremy Renner who plays the part of Brandt and joins the team alongside with Tom Cruise, who obviously is Ethan Hunt and Paula Patton who plays the part of Jane. She is the female member of the team. Simon Pegg's comedic computer genius Benji from the last part gets promoted to a full team member. Cruise also performs the most talked about stunt of the year in this film. The 49 year old actor climbed up and also ran down the mirrored glass exterior of the Burj Khalifa, the 2,723 foot tall skyscraper in Dubai that holds the record for the highest structure that has ever been built. Critics are already calling it the best action film of the year. This movie is exciting, suspenseful and interesting. It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. The movie had good action scenes along with a little bit of humor, which made the movie even more worth watching. I'm just going to sign off by saying, this movie is a must watch for the holidays, something not worth missing out and a movie that wouldn't be as fun to watch on DVD as it would be to watch it at the theatre. Even if you have been disappointed by the previous Mission: Impossible movies, I highly recommend you go watch this movie because this installment is definitely the best of the series. "Your mission, should you choose to accept"
